As a Collateral Analyst, you'll support the Commodity & Structured Trade Finance business line in all aspects of transaction and collateral management, administration of credit facilities, and risk analysis. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining a portfolio of committed and uncommitted credits by coordinating with relationship managers, portfolio managers, product partners, and operations departments to facilitate the booking of credit facilities and execution of daily financing activities such as loans, LCs, payments, receivable purchases, bills of exchange discounting, etc. You will also manage related risks through ongoing analysis and monitoring of the bank’s collateral. Responsibilities:

Interact daily with clients, relationship managers, portfolio managers, trade service operations, loan operations, and other internal departments as required. Monitor transactional and related collateral to ensure client positions are within approved limits. Review borrowing, LC, payment, and receivable purchase requests, and coordinate with back/middle office for transaction execution. Address borrower inquiries. Review term sheets, draft agreements/amendments, credit approval, and write-ups. Participate in deal discussions and coordinate with back/middle office for closing a facility. For agency deals, monitor credit facilities (credit limit, sub-limits, intra-day activities, etc.), validate borrower requests, and provide approval. Address lender's/borrower's inquiries. Facilitate LC reconciliation with issuing bank/back office/borrower. Analyze borrowing base prepared/provided by clients, verify calculations, and ensure accounts receivable are within limits. Discuss discrepancies with relationship managers and team leaders. For secured transactional facilities, review individual transaction requests, analyze underlying collateral, review contracts, and verify commodity prices. Review and analyze position and mark-to-market reports, discussing discrepancies with relevant teams. Assess the bank’s exposure and provide timely alerts on adverse developments or risk deterioration. Skills & Experience:

Undergraduate degree in finance or related field, or equivalent experience. 1-4 years of experience within a financial institution, with a good understanding of corporate finance, trade finance products, and banking operations. Experience with trade finance, commodities lending, or collateral management at a bank is preferred. Knowledge of bank systems like ACBS, OVS, Trade 360, LoanApp is a plus. Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills; ability to work independently and under pressure; proactive and results-driven attitude. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel. Compensation & Benefits:

The typical base pay range is $95k-$135k, depending on experience and location, with eligibility for bonuses and incentives.
