Accounting Supervisor – Multi-Entity & Consolidations Focus Location:
Fort Collins, CO
Our client in Fort Collins is seeking an experienced
Accounting Supervisor
with a strong background in
multi-entity accounting and consolidations
to join their Accounting & Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment, leading a team of professionals and reporting directly to Senior Leadership.
Role Overview As the
Accounting Supervisor , you will lead core accounting operations across multiple entities, focusing heavily on
intercompany transactions ,
consolidated financial reporting , and ensuring compliance with accounting standards across diverse business units.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage accounting staff responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and general ledger functions.
Drive the consolidation of financials across multiple entities, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations and compliance with GAAP.
Oversee the month-end close process in NetSuite, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all entities.
Maintain and reconcile the company’s balance sheets and general ledger across multiple business units.
Prepare and review intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation and settlement.
Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies related to multi-entity structures.
Supervise the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment across entities.
Coordinate and provide key support for the annual external audit and lender reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Legal, IT, and Operations to ensure financial integration and consistency.
Remain current on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Preferred Experience & Skills
Proven experience in multi-entity accounting and financial consolidations.
Background in brewery, distillery, or manufacturing cost accounting is highly preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with NetSuite, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, and other ERP systems.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and analytical thinking.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity environments.
CMA certification preferred.
