This role is primarily focused on shadow accounting and internal fund reporting, with light involvement in tax-related support. You’ll maintain internal books and records across multiple fund structures, reconcile activity with the fund administrator, and support the tax team on investor-level reporting and year-end deliverables. Primary Responsibilities – Shadow Accounting (80–90%)

Maintain detailed internal books and records across various private equity funds and related entities, including master-feeder, parallel, and co-investment vehicles. Perform comprehensive reconciliations of internal fund activity and NAVs with third-party fund administrators on a monthly and quarterly basis. Track and reconcile capital activity such as capital calls, distributions, investor subscriptions, and redemptions across funds. Review and validate fund expenses, management and incentive fee calculations, expense allocations, and carried interest waterfalls. Partner with investor relations, legal/compliance, and operations to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial and investor reporting deliverables. Support quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including performance metrics, internal dashboards, and responses to LP inquiries. Assist in managing annual financial statement audits, including preparation of audit support schedules and coordination with external auditors. Secondary Responsibilities – Tax Support (10–20%)

Collaborate with the tax team to support the preparation of investor-level tax deliverables, such as Schedule K-1s, PFIC statements, and capital account summaries. Reconcile book-to-tax differences and help maintain tax basis records at both the fund and investor levels.
