$35.00/hr - $45.00/hr Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant engineering discipline. Experience in embedded systems, software/firmware/hardware quality assurance. Understanding of embedded software development and hardware design principles. Experience with hardware and/or software development lifecycle processes. Understand how Firmware works and have strong knowledge on embedded firmware testing. Understanding of firmware design tools, languages, debugging and analyzing results. Experience in design, execution of test to validate firmware and camera systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability and robustness data collection. JIRA/Confluence or other project management and bug tracking software. Writing test scenarios, test cases and test plans. Experience in code development and/or scripting language such as Python and experience with Unix/Linux systems software (OS and commands, e.g. Shell scripts, OS and configuration). Strong experience in testing wireless devices embedded firmware, hardware interfaces, and system-level functionality across a range of devices. This role is 3x/week onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
