Corcoran New Development had a banner year in 2024 with NYC’s highest-profile developments in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. plans for 2025 include expanding coverage in NYC with new construction properties throughout the city. The division will have projects in all 5 New York boroughs and New Jersey. We are seeking a dynamic Leasing Associate to join a leasing project in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This position requires an office-based presence and weekend work. Core Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
Respond to incoming inquiries daily and schedule property tours for interested prospects Provide overviews for all general inquiries that come into the leasing office Conduct property and residence tours with compelling presentations tailored to prospect needs, values, and concerns Conduct follow-up outreach regarding questions, concerns, and requests from prospects or their agents; ensure leads are actively pursued Provide concise, easy-to-follow application instructions on the leasing and approval process to prospects Develop monthly rental rate and concession reports for the property’s competitive set Handle and maintain property pricing grids and inventory Assist and run concise daily and weekly leasing traffic reports for the developer and Corcoran teams Negotiate rental terms when needed and facilitate the lease signing process for each residence Interact daily with new development management regarding customer and property feedback Update property advertising Assist in creating property condition feedback reports and comparable reports Provide leasing and administrative support to the Leasing Director daily Develop relationships with local brokerage firms to increase outside brokerage activity Work under the direct tutelage of the Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director of New Development rentals Job Requirements
Valid NYS Real Estate Salesperson or NYS Associate Broker License required Experience in the Brooklyn rental market is preferred 3 years of proven real estate brokerage experience preferred, with a minimum of 1 year in new development marketing or onsite leasing Strong ability to interact successfully with potential residents Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changing market conditions, construction conditions, timelines, and inventory fluctuations Meticulous with excellent organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with On-site.com tenant screening software About Us
