Insight Global is seeking a candidate with a background in Treasury and ALM (asset liability management) and experience with QRM. The role starts as a 6-month contract that will lead to a full-time position in a leading bank. You will work in a team responsible for effective challenge, independent oversight, reporting, and monitoring of structural market risk in the Banking Book, and you will collaborate with stakeholders across Risk and Finance and other Treasury Risk functions. Base pay range
$65.00/hr - $75.00/hr This range is provided by Insight Global. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Analyze risk metrics (Economic Value of Equity, PV01, Earnings at Risk) from modelling, interest rate, and balance sheet changes/movements. Monitor structural market risk limits set by the bank as a second line of defense; investigate and obtain sign-off for deviations or excesses from limits. Review and challenge models and non-model assumptions. Prepare presentations and materials on structural market risk positions for committee meetings with senior leaders of Market Risk and Corporate Treasury. Support audit and regulatory findings remediation efforts. Conduct research and develop data‑driven tools to improve decision making. Apply risk assessment knowledge and regulatory compliance standards to daily work. Identify ways to mitigate potential risks and implement solutions based on analysis. Document data flow, systems, and processes to improve design, implementation, and management of business processes. Conduct quantitative research across strategies and portfolios. Work independently and handle non-routine situations. Qualifications
5-7+ years of relevant experience in Treasury and ALM, including analysis of risk metrics and monitoring structural market risk limits. Experience with QRM. Understanding of quantitative financial modeling; hands-on experience preferred. Academic background in math and finance, including a University degree. Foundation proficiency: Regulatory capital and stress testing; compliance and regulation; machine learning; learning agility; systems thinking. Intermediate proficiency: Asset liability management; data management and data-driven decision making; critical thinking and analytical/problem-solving skills; driving results; collaboration and team skills.
