Sr Research Associate – Mammalian Cell Culture
details: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and high-throughput cell-based assays, proficiency in sterile technique, automation systems, and cell line maintenance; independent troubleshooting, optimization of culture conditions, and cross-functional collaboration to support innovative therapeutic development. Responsibilities
Support cell culture operation function, including maintenance, proliferation and cryo banking. Use Lila internal software solution for cell culture operation. Perform optimization efforts for mammalian cell culture protocols, increasing efficiency and reproducibility across experiments. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of experimental protocols, data, and observations in electronic lab notebooks (ELNs). Assist in automation of workflows using liquid handling systems to streamline cell culture processes. Carry out transient and stable transfection protocols for protein expression, maintaining sterility and minimizing contamination risks. Collaborate in cross-functional teams, contributing insights to study design, process improvement, and project planning. What You’ll Need to Succeed
BS/ MS in Biology, Biotechnology or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in mammalian cell culture operations Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment Experience with Python programming is a plus.
