Overview
Withum’s Auditing and Attest Engagement services form the cornerstone of the firm. The
Financial Services Audit Manager
will be based in one of the following offices: East Brunswick, NJ; Whippany, NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Orlando, FL; or New York City. The role offers the opportunity to build a strong team and a pathway to Partnership as part of an integrated team of seasoned CPAs and industry leaders.

How You’ll Spend Your Time
Lead or supervise the engagement team in planning and executing audits, reviews, or compilations to deliver exceptional client service.
Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusions.
Provide supervision and support to engagement staff and promote open communication with the engagement partner.
Collaborate with seniors, supervisors, and partners on client issue resolution and advise on legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during audits.
Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines.
Create and monitor engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies.
Conduct evaluations with team members and provide coaching accordingly.
Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
The Kinds of People We Want to Talk To Have Many of the Following
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA license required
At least 5 years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
Experience with audits of funds such as private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and funds of funds
Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills with familiarity with US GAAP
Exceptional client service and communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to travel as needed
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position varies by location. In New Jersey or New York, the range is $95,000–$185,000 annually. Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
