Role Overview

As the Leasing Manager, you'll have a big mission. Your mission is to oversee all leasing activities, implement and partner with supporting team members to monitor community outreach marketing strategies and supervising and training Leasing Consultants to ensure adherence with Company policies and Fair Housing guidelines. Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting in the successful marketing, administrative, and financial operations of the property under the direction of the Community Manager. Maintains a strong understanding of the community, specials and floor plans and oversees all unit pricing. Oversees all unit pricing and confirms that the pricing is correctly updated on the BH website. Assists the on-site team and Performance Analysts in marketing all units, determining leasing problems, offering solutions to vacancies and resident retention. Maintains an understanding of all market survey data and utilizes information to generate traffic of potential residents; oversees shopping of competitive properties. Understands, utilizes, and promotes all third-party online leasing programs in accordance with BH policies and procedures. Ensures all prospect information and alert notifications are accurately entered into property management software and addressed in a timely manner. Assist with leasing job duties, including touring prospective residents and preparation of lease agreements, and walking vacant units as needed to meet business needs. Demonstrated understanding of Fair Housing guidelines and applicable leasing regulations and requirements. Provide prospective feedback to supporting team on rental rates and specials and recommend adjustments as needed. Other duties as assigned.

You Have

High School or GED (General Education Diploma) Required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced computer technology skills and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite. Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law. Previous experience in a customer-facing/customer service role. 2 years of prior leasing experience. Strong understanding of Fair Housing guidelines, Policy / Procedures, and leasing documents.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (work schedule may vary). Some overtime may be required and ability to work extended hours including “on-call” and/or participate in a rotating “on-call” schedule as needed to meet business needs.
