Overview

The Enterprise Risk Analyst supports the Operational Risk Manager regarding all aspects of Operational Risk Management and Financial Risk Reporting within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. Assists in managing the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform to capture, document, and report risks across the organization. Holds monthly KRI / risk assessment sessions with business lines and compiles the reporting dashboards used for management and committee meetings. Assists in the completion of annual RCSAs. Operational Risk Management Support: Assist the Operational Risk Manager in the identification, assessment, and reporting of operational risks within the organization. Collaborate with lines of business to identify, record, and track inherent and residual risks. Support management in the development and implementation of risk management strategies, policies, and procedures. Assist in identifying and evaluating control environments and building the control inventory. Assist with monitoring and reporting on risk exposure and mitigation efforts. Assist in identifying and capturing risk events, perform root cause analysis, and propose recommendations to control enhancements. Financial Risk Management Support: Analyze financial data related to Credit, Market, and Liquidity risk to identify and report potential risks and trends. Establish individual monthly sessions with business lines to review risk data and formulate language for risk reporting. Utilize industry-wide metrics to support/enhance risk reporting, including comparisons to peer banks. Reporting: Analyze data to identify trends and potential risk areas. Prepare and report metrics and dashboards for presentation. Prepare reports for management and stakeholders. Prepare agendas and draft meeting minutes. Ensure alignment to the organizational Risk Appetite Statement. Risk Assessments and Examinations: Conduct risk assessments and evaluate effectiveness across all lines of business. Partner with Audit, Compliance, and Regulators on examination management and best practice assurances. Industry Knowledge and Training: Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes. Facilitate risk management workshops and meetings. Partner with Training on training initiatives. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Business, Finance or other relevant fields. 3+ years of relevant work experience in Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, or related areas. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and exercise sound judgement. Knowledge of operational processes, risk assessment methodologies, and industry best practices. Knowledge of bank operations. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Microsoft Office skills: proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience managing and implementing risk management tools such as GRC platforms. Understanding of regulations and compliance requirements related to the industry. Benefits
