Turner & Townsend is seeking a

Senior Portfolio Program Manager

to lead construction delivery and strategic oversight for a major capital program supporting a national portfolio of complex real estate expansion projects for a leading life sciences company. In this role, you will serve as the day-to-day interface with the client’s real estate and capital projects team, overseeing program controls, project management best practices, and strategic planning. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent performance across a portfolio of construction projects, with a focus on governance, reporting, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of project management and controls best practices across a national portfolio of capital projects. Drive continuous improvement of internal and client-facing systems, including cost management tools, reporting frameworks, risk documentation, and scheduling processes. Develop and manage program-level reporting for key stakeholders, including dashboards, KPIs, planning metrics, and performance tracking against baseline targets. Support strategic capital planning and portfolio-level initiatives aligned with client goals. Deliver training and onboarding programs for internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure consistent application of program controls. Serve as the primary day-to-day interface with the client’s real estate and capital projects team, ensuring alignment on governance, standards, and strategic priorities. Participate in value engineering and cost optimization efforts across the portfolio. Review and advise on master schedules, milestone sequencing, and critical path analysis. Develop and manage program budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial plans. Lead risk management activities, including identification, mitigation planning, and reporting. Facilitate meetings with client stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to communicate program status and resolve issues. Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with client standards and governance requirements. Support the development of an end-to-end project controls framework from intake through closeout, incorporating feedback loops for continuous improvement. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in capital projects, construction, or real estate, with a focus on program or portfolio management. Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing project controls and governance across a portfolio of capital projects. Strong understanding of construction delivery processes, particularly within commercial real estate, life sciences, or infrastructure sectors. Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI; ability to build and troubleshoot dashboards and reporting tools. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience presenting to senior leadership and gaining alignment on strategic initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results within aggressive timelines. Ability to travel or commute to client offices or project sites as needed. Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $140K-$165K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
