Your role. Your work will include, but not be limited to: Provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, management buyouts, etc. Oversee engagements designed to help clients identify and implement accounting transformation initiatives by evaluating people, process, and technology, including updating reporting basis (e.g., cash basis to US GAAP), improving reporting efficiency, mitigating risk, and adjusting accounting department hierarchy, responsibility allocation, and staff composition. Clean-up financial information that requires attention, including establishing and implementing accounting processes, policies, and procedures for accurate financial reporting now and in the future. Perform interim accounting and finance roles for clients dealing with planned and unplanned departures. Provide oversight and assistance in implementing accounting standards, such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, complex debt and equity issuances, and equity compensation. Prepare detailed financial analyses to evaluate potential acquisitions, financing arrangements, and strategic decisions. Participate in client meetings and site visits, interacting with top management to gather and assess information. Develop and review financial forecasts for clients. Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports to assess earnings quality, strategic initiatives, or other reporting needs. Analyze financial statements to evaluate performance sustainability. Address other accounting and reporting responsibilities where clients lack internal capacity or expertise. Practice development responsibilities include networking, coaching, engagement management, proposal and budget preparation, project management, and client invoicing and collections.
The qualifications Bachelor's Degree required CPA preferred Experience in practice development and professional networking 6+ years of experience in public accounting audit, industry accounting leadership, or technical accounting consulting. This is an exempt position; hours may exceed 40 per week. What makes us different?
