We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Accounting Manager-Consolidations
to manage the financial consolidation process across our client’s organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP, supporting internal and external reporting requirements, and collaborating with finance teams across business units and regions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical accounting background and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly corporate consolidation process, including journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and related documentation
Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Maintain and improve the consolidation systems and tools (SAP S/4 HANA and OneStream)
Support internal and external audit processes by preparing audit schedules and responding to inquiries
Partner with technical accounting and financial reporting departments to ensure alignment with accounting standards and SEC reporting
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in consolidations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a consolidation or reporting role
Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly revenue recognition (ASC606) and lease accounting (ASC842)
Experience with financial consolidation systems (SAP S/4 HANA, OneStream)
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
