Overview
TotalEnergies Gas and Power is the trading arm of TotalEnergies in low carbon energies (mainly gas, LNG and power). TGPNA is the affiliate in North America responsible for the US trading business, operating in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors. Trading aims to grow and be profitable while contributing to the Carbon Neutrality by 2050. This position is in Houston, Texas. In a constantly evolving environment, Information Systems and Digital are central to Trading & Shipping as well as Gas & Power Trading. The Business Applications Trading Oil & Shipping team must respond to many user requests to ensure high IT availability for daily work and to support new businesses. Responsibilities
Your missions as a
Business Analyst Trading Oil and Shipping
include: Support
Provide support and ensure the interface
between the users and the development teams Understand why errors occur , find ways to work around them until they are fixed Assist the business users
to set up their screens and make optimal use of the functionalities Promote new features
and participate in change management Write documentation
for users Test
Design and execute functional, non-regression and user acceptance testing of the new software releases Ensure compliance of the delivered software
with the users\' specifications and according to the predefined planning. Project Management
Collect and analyze
the business requirements on small projects or future improvements Formalize the functional specifications
that will be sent to the development team Ensure that business requirements
respect the consistency of the ETRM Being the interlocutor of the development teams The Business Analyst is the
privileged interlocutor of the business teams
concerning the optimal use of T&S ETRM and the development teams during evolutions. He ensures the quality and adequacy of the ETRM with user requirements to provide high-performance IT tools for the T&S Business. Candidate Profile
Are you someone with the following: University education at least a
master's level , ideally with a specialization in Financial Markets and/or Commodity Trading and/or Oil Logistics and/or Information Systems management. Fluent in
English and French (MUST be able to read French documents) . One to two years of experience
in Commodity Trading, and/or as a Business Analyst with initial project management experience in an international environment and with a strong IT interest. This position requires
autonomy, discipline , to be resourceful and well organized. Be
proactive, and have good ability to convince , IT skills and interest are essential. Good communication
