Senior Private Equity Broker, Middle Market This hybrid role offers flexibility to work virtually and from our New York City office. As part of an industry-leading team, you will support commercial risk delivery for clients and report to the Private Equity Practice Leader for Middle Market. What the day will look like

The Broker manages a sophisticated portfolio of middle market accounts, including placement and service, and ensures client deliverables are maintained. You will drive new business to Aon by supporting P&C program reviews and proforma budgeting during the due diligence process of potential M&A transactions. You will lead by example, sponsor Aon’s Leadership Model, and foster connectivity, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within local office practices and with stakeholders in M&A transactions. Perform the services of an Insurance Broker for Property, Casualty, Worker’s Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, Excess, and Foreign Package policies. Advise and execute the placement of new and renewal P&C programs including crafting submissions. Drive placements within required timeframes and service renewals; address shorter, more complex private equity opportunities. Analyze and review insurance programs to determine optimum terms, pricing, and conditions for new and renewal business. Develop innovative solutions specific to Private Equity risks for Middle Market clients/industry. Develop and maintain positive relationships with carriers and underwriters. Mentor and help develop associate brokers on the team. Collaborate with other colleagues and stakeholders in M&A transactions to build cross-functional relationships. Qualifications and experience

8+ years of relevant insurance P&C experience. Proven knowledge of Casualty (Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess) and Property coverages with programs ranging from traditional Middle Market to Loss Sensitive. Strong understanding of Middle Market P&C risks and carrier appetites. Experience in Private Equity backed placements and servicing. Broad relationships with carriers that write Middle Market P&C business. Knowledge of Benchmarking and Loss Analysis. Strong collaboration and communication skills. How we support our colleagues

Licensing and compliance Your employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining the P&C license in the required states, as designated by Aon. You must complete required coursework and pass examinations within 120 days of your start date. You must pass within three attempts; failure to do so may result in termination. Aon will cover costs up to three attempts. Pay and benefits The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $225,000 annually, with actual salary based on education, experience, skills, and location. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan.
