We are presently recruiting on behalf of a global company in Atlanta for a Senior Financial Analyst of Sales Finance. This is a highly impactful position and exciting opportunity to support company growth. This Senior Financial Analyst will support the Sales/Commercial team which directly drives their growth engine. This role partners closely with Sales/Business Development leaders and Executives to evaluate new business opportunities, model financial outcomes, assess risk, and develop persuasive, data-driven investment proposals. This role will serve as a business partner for evaluating deal opportunities, modeling out investment strategies, building cash flow projections, and presenting findings to senior leadership - playing a key part in shaping the future of their portfolio. Responsibilities
Own and deliver pro formas, execution memos, and financial components for RFPs and direct negotiations. Build and refine financial models to evaluate new development opportunities, including detailed cash flow analysis, ROI, and DCF modeling. Collaborate with Sales leaders to analyze customer traffic, spend potential, and layout plans to inform investment strategies. Provide financial benchmarking, deal analytics, and strategic insight to support Commercial success. Track pipeline activity, retention rates, CapEx commitments, and performance metrics tied to development projects. Support the company's financial planning efforts (estimates, budgets, long-term plans) for new and remodeled locations. Partner with the accounting team to analyze actual vs. projected performance of signed deals; recommend KPIs and support post-deal performance reviews. Communicate financial and business risk to current and future development plans. Deliver clear and compelling presentations to executive leadership with key findings and recommendations. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA is a plus but not required). 3+ years of progressive financial experience, ideally in FP&A, investment banking, corporate development, or commercial deal analysis. Proven experience building and maintaining complex financial models (cash flow, ROI, DCF, etc.). Strong command of Excel modeling and PowerPoint (presentation development) Prior experience in medium to large organizations strongly preferred. Strong understanding of P&L statements and capital investment analysis. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
