Piper Companies is seeking a
System Architect
to support a high-impact federal program. The
System Architect
role requires deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and compliance within secure environments. The
System Architect
must be able to sit onsite in Reston, VA 5 days a week.
Responsibilities of the System Architect
include: • Architect and manage container orchestration platforms, primarily Kubernetes, to support scalable and resilient systems. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • Administer AWS cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security. • Ensure all systems and processes comply with NISPOM and ICD guidelines.
Requirements of the System Architect
include: • Must be eligible to hold an active TS/SCI CI poly clearance • Proven experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. • Strong background in automation and IaC methodologies. • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. • Deep understanding of NISPOM and ICD security standards.
Compensation for the System Architect
include: • Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 • Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick leave as required by law
