Position Accounts Receivable Administrator
Location: Dallas, Texas

Position Summary The Accounts Receivable (AR) Administrator will be responsible for managing the company’s customer invoicing, collections, and payment application processes. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, improving cash flow, and supporting the overall success of the accounting team.
Responsibilities
Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Record and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, credit card) to accounts
Monitor outstanding balances, follow up with customers on past-due accounts, and manage collection efforts professionally
Reconcile AR ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, or account discrepancies
Collaborate with operations and service teams to resolve billing issues or disputes
Assist in month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
Maintain accurate customer account information in accounting and CRM systems
Prepare AR reports for management (aging reports, collection status, cash flow projections)
Support the accounting department with additional administrative tasks as needed
Salary range $45,000-$55,000
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or accounting administration (HVAC, construction, or service industry experience preferred)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes
Proficiency with accounting software (experience with ServiceTitan or QuickBooks is a plus)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, especially with customer interactions
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High level of integrity and confidentiality with financial data
