Senior Audit Manager – Credit Risk

Our client is actively seeking a talented candidate to fill a Senior Audit Manager – Credit Risk position. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in shaping the bank’s credit risk and audit strategy while working in a collaborative, high-impact environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute audits focused on commercial lending, credit risk management, and loan portfolio quality Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen internal controls and regulatory compliance Partner with senior management and stakeholders to drive improvements in credit risk governance Mentor and guide junior auditors, fostering a strong risk-aware culture What We’re Looking For: 7+ years of audit experience, with a focus on commercial credit/lending (banking/financial services required) Strong knowledge of credit risk, regulatory requirements, and loan review processes Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CRC, or CFA (preferred but not required) Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Tom Meberg works with Audit Professionals for leading companies across the country.
