The Tax Manager blends the responsibilities of a traditional tax manager role with the upside of a partner-style compensation model, offering significant income potential along with the stability of a salaried role and full benefits. Responsibilities : Manage the preparation, review, and filing of tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and families Lead tax planning initiatives, ensuring compliance and optimizing strategies for clients Participate in client meetings as a trusted advisor and deliver proactive recommendations Oversee and collaborate with internal staff to ensure timely and accurate tax work Provide guidance on entity structuring, estate planning, and multi-generational wealth strategies Optionally bring in your own clients — though not required, revenue from any personal book is retained after an overhead allocation Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive experience in tax preparation, review, and planning Background working with high-net-worth clients or complex tax structures Strong communication and client relationship management skills Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a boutique, high-touch environment Seniority level
