Overview
Data Governance Data Product Owner & Metrics at U.S. Bank. This role supports a Data as a Product mindset within Data Governance as a Service, partnering across Business Insight & Performance, Operations, Risk/Compliance, technology capabilities teams, and Enterprise Data Governance and Product Offices. Initial focus on the Contact Center Domain and growth of the Metrics Catalogue. Responsibilities
Apply a strong data product approach to data governance, supporting requirements gathering and understanding metrics across Data Engineering, Reporting & Analytics, Compliance, Risk Partners, and Enterprise Data Governance Teams. Collaborate with Business Insight & Performance, Operations, Risk/Compliance, and technology teams to influence data governance and product delivery. Leverage BI visualization tools and data implementation approaches to enable data-driven decisions. Own and contribute to the growth and development of the Metrics Catalogue. Coordinate across teams to achieve data defect resolutions with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset. Communicate effectively with Risk, Technical, and Business partners and document risk appropriately. Manage a hybrid/flexible schedule with in-office expectation of 3+ days per week at an eligible location. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent work experience Five or more years of experience in data governance activities Strong technical/functional understanding of internal and vendor systems with complex data backends using Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL, and IBM SQL Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and assess business needs for short-term and long-term success across on-prem and cloud solutions Strong background in data analytics supporting root cause analysis and coordinating data defect resolutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across Risk, Technical, and Business partners Demonstrated risk documentation skills and ability to hold teams accountable for sustaining data governance Additional Details
