Overview
Treasury & Payment Solution – Treasury Portfolio Manager Base pay range: $51,800.00/yr - $95,900.00/yr. This role applies consultative sales and relationship management practices to generate leads and close sales of treasury management and payment solutions for new and existing clients while ensuring regulatory compliance. It monitors implementation activities to ensure alignment with timelines and provides tailored treasury management solutions to optimize sales processes and enhance client experiences and business outcomes. The role manages sales processes, client engagement and outcomes. Responsibilities
Manage client sales inquiries related to product offerings, pricing, and implementation, ensuring clear communication and timely responses to facilitate the sales process. Conduct sales discussions, introduce innovative products and services, share insights on industry trends, and foster proactive client engagement. Handle the Client Management Process (CMP) by identifying client needs, building relationships, and driving acquisition strategies to grow the client portfolio. Analyze trends in overdrawn accounts to identify compliance risks and implement escalation procedures in line with company directives. Resolve document exceptions and maturity report discrepancies, ensuring record accuracy and addressing potential issues. Coordinate client implementation activities ensuring alignment with timelines and outcomes. Provide guidance on treasury management solutions, helping clients optimize cash flow and enhance liquidity management. Attend industry forums and community events to stay updated on market trends and support sales strategies. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with the bank’s high-value and strategic clients, providing strategic advice and exceptional service. Analyze client and industry data to inform customized client solution strategies for optimized working capital management. Work with internal teams to define products, solutions and strategies that fit clients’ needs. Build advocacy and adoption of NA TPS digital products & solutions. Support implementation activities, including documentation, pricing, and project timelines to ensure timely delivery and continuous process improvements. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance, mitigating risk and maintaining service standards. Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus. Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules and work independently on complex tasks. Qualifications
4 – 6 years of relevant experience in treasury management, financial operations or risk management in a corporate or banking environment is preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered. Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience. Salary: $51,800.00 - $95,900.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on hours worked. For commission roles, the salary listed represents the expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on pay type and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
