Overview

The Apple Service Engineering team blends art and technology to power the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books at a massive scale. They deliver entertainment in over 35 languages to more than 150 countries, with a focus on user experience, privacy, and product impact. Apple is seeking an experienced data analyst to work on exciting problems in ASE, identifying trends, root causes, and transforming ideas into products and systems in a collaborative, learning-focused environment. Responsibilities

Dive deep into large-scale data to uncover trends and identify key insights. Build and automate dashboards used to present key insights to partners. Partner with data engineers and project managers to conduct data investigation and analysis. Collaborate with researchers and machine learning engineers to build data science and machine learning solutions, such as anomaly detection. Facilitate technical and business discussions to determine the right technical direction for business problems. Qualifications

3+ years in an analytics or data engineering role Experience in data analytics, proficient in SQL or Python (Pandas) Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, GGplot, or Keynote Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting and modeling Experience in coding for automation (e.g., Scala, Python, Java) Familiarity with writing data pipelines using big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hive, Trino, Flink, Airflow) Familiarity with modern cloud technologies such as Kubernetes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Education & Experience

Bachelor’s or higher degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research or a related field). Pay & Benefits

Base pay range: $131,500.00 to $243,300.00, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple shareholders opportunity through discretionary employee stock programs; eligibility for discretionary restricted stock units and possible stock purchases through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
