Join a thriving commercial real estate property management company as their Senior Property Accountant. This on-site role is perfect for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll handle the full accounting cycle for a diverse portfolio, partner closely with the property management team, and bring your outgoing personality to an office that values energy, teamwork, and excellence. Experience with CAM reconciliations is a plus—and your ability to make numbers tell a story will make you stand out. Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle property accounting for a diverse commercial portfolio—including general ledger entries, bank and CAM reconciliations, cash receipts, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closings. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, variance analyses, and forecasting reports to support property performance. Collaborate with property management teams to ensure accurate tenant billings, rent rolls, CAM, utility, and tax reimbursements, and timely invoice processing. Perform bank, balance sheet, and reserve reconciliations, support budgeting and forecasting, and assist with integrations for new acquisitions. Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights in a lively, fast-paced environment, and help refine accounting processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 3–5+ years of commercial real estate or property management accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, full-cycle property accounting, account reconciliations (especially CAM), variance analysis, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, Nexus, or similar property accounting software, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Exceptional analytical ability, attention to detail, and an outgoing, team-oriented personality that thrives in a collaborative, dynamic culture.
