Job Overview The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing financial support for critical areas and time-bound processes such as the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and the month-end close cycle. Assists in the preparation of various financial activities including data gathering, trending, modeling, forecasting, planning, and reporting. Collects information from various areas across the company to assist in building models that provide insight into underlying business dynamics.

Job Responsibilities
Prepare and review accurate and timely financial and business-related analyses, research, and forecasts.
Perform advanced trend and variance analyses, incorporating data from different areas and synthesizing findings to improve processes.
Responsible for weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and updates to management, including KPI maintenance.
Provide insights into business performance and suggest potential action plans.
Conduct financial evaluation research and analysis, sourcing data internally and externally.
Present research and analysis results to management.
Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, including variance analysis and sensitivity testing.
Lead critical planning and analysis processes.
Develop and support complex short-term (1 year) and long-term (3-5 years) forecasting models, mainly driver-based.
Lead process improvements and strategic initiatives under supervision, analyzing and suggesting business process enhancements.
Articulate the impact of analysis, modeling, and decision support on key financial metrics.
Develop and present business cases to leadership.
Act as an internal consultant, interacting with management at all levels.
Job Requirements Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience
5+ years FP&A experience required.
Skills/Abilities
Thorough knowledge of and experience in market, consumer, and business research for wholesale industries.
Success in complex financial analysis.
Clear communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access.
Teamwork, ownership, and independent work ability.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Financial modeling experience.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Leadership qualities without direct authority.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Interpersonal skills, discretion, and judgment.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and TM1 is a plus.
Work Environment This is a remote role. Employees may work from home or visit offices as needed. Travel may be required for specific meetings or business reasons.
Physical Demands
Most work performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Sitting for long periods, using hands, reaching, and talking.
Use of office equipment such as calculators, keyboards, telephones.
Physical activities like stooping, bending, and reaching may be required.
