INSPYR Solutions is partnered with an oilfield services company in Deer Park to hire a Corporate Controller for their team. This position is onsite and will be responsible for managing the entire accounting department and processes.
We’re looking for a results-driven Controller to lead and enhance our accounting operations. In this key leadership role, you'll oversee the full scope of accounting functions and play a strategic part in financial planning and organizational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily accounting operations across general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes Maintain compliance with GAAP and all relevant tax laws and regulatory requirements Develop, refine, and enforce internal controls, operational processes, and department KPIs Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to inform strategic financial decisions Oversee the creation and management of annual budgets and financial forecasts Provide regular financial reporting and insights to the CFO Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with external auditors Drive initiatives to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support growth Lead recruitment, training, and retention efforts within the accounting team Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 7+ years in a leadership capacity Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and standard accounting practices Proven ability to lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams Demonstrated success in process optimization and driving organizational change Strong attention to detail with a systems and process mindset Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams Proficient in accounting systems and ERP software; Epicor experience is a plus CPA is strongly preferred Benefits
