Overview BigBear.ai is actively seeking to add a talented Business Analyst to join our Shipyard AI Capacity Planning team. Come join an exciting team that is helping the growing Shipbuilding industry improve operations through the deployment of our technologies.

This position will be remote working in a collaborative team environment to support the deployment of our proprietary software to shipbuilders around the world. As a technical Business Analyst for the Shipyard AI Capacity Planning team, you will work in a team environment to define and document business processes and software requirements for technology initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for communication and collaboration between the customers and development team to ensure quality deliverables.

What you will do

Lead onsite data collection and Shipyard AI implementation efforts

Maintain relationships with key shipyard personnel

Support development of requirements documentation and related specifications, documentation, and business cases

Assist in solutions design and deployment requirements for proposals and follow-on work

Attain basic knowledge of BigBear\'s services and software portfolio to assist in growth opportunities in the Shipyards

Assisting in sales demos and customer presentations

Provide feedback for product development

Troubleshoot customer issues (as needed)

Provide customer training on deployments

Travel will be required as needed to support deployments of our solutions

What you need to have

Passionate about providing high quality, impactful solutions to real business opportunities and challenges.

Experience with project planning or engineering, ideally in a U.S. Navy, ship building, or other manufacturing environment.

B.S. or M.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Systems & Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering degree.

3+ years of experience in manufacturing, capacity planning, simulation or similar fields.

In lieu of degree, 10+ years of relevant experience in shipbuilding with a focus on capacity planning and scheduling.

What we\'d like you to have

Experience in large-scale system implementation efforts following a standard software development lifecycle approach (scrum desired).

Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development and data modeling.

Knowledge of industry standard development methodologies and technologies.

Knowledge of planning and forecasting systems

Knowledge of shipbuilding and large manufacturing processes
