About the Role The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s cash management, banking relationships, liquidity planning, and debt and investment activities. Reporting to the VP of Accounting and Treasury, this role ensures efficient use of financial resources, compliance with internal controls and regulations, and provides strategic support to optimize capital structure and risk management.
Responsibilities
Cash & Liquidity Management: Monitor daily cash flow, short-term liquidity, and forecasting to ensure adequate funding for operations. Optimize working capital, including collections, disbursements, and intercompany funding.
Banking & Capital Markets: Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions. Evaluate and negotiate credit facilities, loans, and other financing arrangements. Oversee administration of corporate bank accounts and authorized signatories.
Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks related to currency, interest rates, and liquidity. Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, SOX and regulatory requirements. Maintain proper documentation for debt and investments.
Investments & Debt: Manage investment of excess cash in accordance with company policy. Track debt maturity schedules and interest obligations. Recommend strategies for optimizing the capital structure.
Treasury Operations & Technology: Oversee treasury systems, banking platforms, and automation initiatives. Partner with accounting, tax, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate treasury reporting and integration with financial statements. Support M&A activities with due diligence and integration of treasury operations.
Other projects as directed by the VP of Accounting and Treasury.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5-8+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking.
Strong knowledge of cash management, capital markets, and treasury operations.
Experience with treasury management systems and ERP software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage external banking relationships.
Leadership experience with proven ability to develop and mentor staff.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in a relevant field.
Extensive experience in A&D industry or at a public company.
Proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with advanced project management tools and methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead through change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation Annual Salary Range: $110,000 - $151,000 USD
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
