The IT Financial Operations & Valuation Manager is a strategic role within the Office of the CIO (OCIO), responsible for leading the financial management of IT operations, optimizing vendor relationships, and enabling the enterprise to make informed, value-driven technology investments. This position plays a key role in driving financial discipline across IT, developing modern FinOps strategies, and integrating digital and cloud financial practices to support a hybrid/multi-cloud environment. This role is pivotal in shaping a world-class IT organization through automation, continuous improvement, financial transparency, and talent development. Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Budget Management Lead the annual and quarterly IT budget planning, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles across all technology domains in partnership with Finance and IT leaders. Track and report actual IT spend vs. budget, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for realignment. Monitor IT financial performance and provide actionable insights to identify risks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities. Build and manage financial models that assess TCO, ROI, and NPV for IT initiatives. Align financial planning with digital transformation and cloud adoption roadmaps. Develop dashboards and KPIs to provide clear visibility into financial performance for IT leadership and executive stakeholders. Ensure cost-effective utilization of IT resources through data-driven insights and continuous monitoring. Establish financial governance practices and decision frameworks that support informed trade-offs and prioritization of investments. Promote a culture of financial discipline across IT teams through education and integration of FinOps principles. Support the OCIO and IT leaders with business case development, scenario modeling, and strategic recommendations. Align valuation practices with corporate investment strategy and enterprise risk management. Modern FinOps & Cloud Financial Management Develop and implement FinOps strategies and policies to support financial transparency, accountability, and optimization in a hybrid/multi-cloud environment. Collaborate with Cloud Operations and Engineering to align financial models with cloud usage patterns and subscription models. Track, analyze, and report on cloud spend to ensure optimal value realization from vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, AWS, and other SaaS providers. Monitor financial performance across IT projects, applications, and services to identify inefficiencies and drive cost-saving initiatives. FinOps Strategy & Cost Optimization Establish financial governance practices and decision frameworks that support informed trade-offs and prioritization of investments. Promote a culture of financial discipline across IT teams through education and integration of FinOps principles. Process Automation & Continuous Improvement Drive automation of financial processes including forecasting, reporting, and spend tracking using AI-powered tools. Lead initiatives to streamline and improve financial workflows through Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Implement continuous improvement cycles using retrospective reviews, lessons learned, and process audits. Design and deliver through collaboration with other IT teams automated financial dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and scripting languages such as Python to streamline analysis and decision-making. Standardize reporting frameworks to enable consistent tracking of IT financial KPIs across projects, services, and vendors. Vendor Financial Oversight Manage the financial lifecycle of IT vendor relationships including budgeting, contract evaluation, and cost benchmarking. Conduct Executive Business Reviews with strategic vendors to align roadmaps, co-develop solutions, and ensure commercial value. Collaborate with Procurement and Legal on commercial negotiations and renewal strategies. Identify vendor-related cost-saving opportunities and lead efforts to optimize commercial terms and service structures. Talent Development & Knowledge Transfer Support development and mentoring of team members, fostering a culture of financial excellence within the OCIO and broader IT organization. Promote knowledge sharing, documentation of processes, and upskilling in financial tools and practices. Governance & Cross-functional Alignment Serve as the financial liaison between IT, Finance, Procurement, and other business stakeholders. Ensure compliance with corporate financial controls and support audit and reporting requirements. Facilitate financial alignment between competing priorities and business strategies through clear analysis and structured recommendations. Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Education:

MBA, CPA, CMA, or FinOps certification preferred. Minimum Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT financial management, FP&A, or FinOps in a complex, enterprise IT environment. Strong proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting, especially related to IT services and projects. Experience with ITFM tools (e.g., Apptio, Oracle, SAP), cost transparency models, and cloud cost optimization preferred. Experience leading a team. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Experience: Deep understanding of IT financial drivers, cloud economics, and vendor performance metrics. Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with TBM (Technology Business Management), FinOps, or CIO office functions is a plus. Experience with Convenience Store or Retail Systems Travel:

5-10% as needed Hours & Conditions:
