Responsibilities
Lead and supervise teams of staff and seniors; provide feedback, coaching, and development support. Demonstrate technical expertise in federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning. Deliver strategic tax planning solutions that align with clients\' broader business goals. Review complex tax returns to ensure quality and accuracy prior to submission. Cultivate strong relationships with clients through responsive, consultative service. Support the professional development of junior team members through mentoring and guidance. Manage multiple engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling additional services. Represent the firm at networking events and in the broader business community.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required). Active CPA or EA license. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning. Prior experience in a public accounting environment preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Willingness to work additional hours during peak seasons.
