Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Patient Financial Advisor Ancillary/Diagnostic Scheduler, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Patient Financial Advisor-Ancillary/Diagnostic Scheduler, you will: Schedule and authorize coverage for scheduled services. Communicate with physicians and clinical staff as needed. Pre-register scheduled services, including coverage verifications and authorizations. Assist patients with completing AHC charitable applications at medical centers. Schedule Interventional Radiology, L&D, EEG, Respiratory, Cardiology, Radiology, OT, and Speech Therapy appointments. Verify insurance coverage and benefits, obtain authorizations, and collect patient financial obligations. Qualifications include: Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare financial environment, including insurer or public health settings. High School Graduate or equivalent. Experience as a scheduler or coordinator in departments such as Interventional Radiology, L&D, EEG, Respiratory, Cardiology, Radiology, OT, or Speech Therapy. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Work Schedule: Day Shift, Hybrid model, Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, Fridays 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. #GR8 Accounting & Finance Pay Range:
$18.71 - $25.65 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during screening. FLSA Classification:
