As a Climate, Nature, and Social Risk Modelling Senior Associate/Vice President, you will define the company's strategy for managing risks related to climate, nature, and social issues. Your collaboration with internal stakeholders will be crucial, utilizing your data analysis, research, and communication skills to enhance our climate and nature risk capabilities. Your responsibility and accountability will be vital as you participate in large-scale, high-impact projects, showcasing your relationship-building and execution skills. Job Responsibilities
Establish and refine transmission channels between Integrated Assessment Models and large-scale global macro-econometric models. Contribute to climate and nature risk scenarios to assess the impact of related shocks on national, sectoral, and regional economies. Improve existing macroeconomic models to better capture climate and nature risks. Develop new models to address emerging economic issues related to climate and nature. Collaborate with climate scientists, economists, and risk professionals for comprehensive risk assessment. Integrate macroeconomic insights into risk strategies. Stay informed on research and developments in macroeconomics and climate science. Conduct research to understand economic impacts of climate change. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with risk management standards. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Advanced degree (master’s or Ph.D.) in Economics, Environmental Economics, Climate Science, or related fields. Experience in macroeconomic forecasting, climate risk analysis, or related areas. Knowledge of econometric and statistical modelling techniques. Familiarity with climate models and climate data integration. Proficiency in R, Stata, MATLAB, Python, or similar software. Strong analytical skills for complex data interpretation. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. About Us
