Job Description Summary Formulate new business proposals, develop company forecasts and valuations, evaluate merger and acquisition scenarios and prepare documents related to the public and private issuance of stock. Will work on every aspect of the transaction process, including participating in drafting sessions, new business proposals and due diligence meetings.

Responsibilities

Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.

Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.

Develop and amend investment models to provide input to senior colleagues and/or help manage assigned portfolios.

Advise managers how to apply a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents.

Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.

Edit documents in line with organizational style guidelines and prepare information for publication.

Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization, delivering high-quality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues.

Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.

Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.

Develop short- or medium-term work schedules in order to achieve planned commitments.

Approve overtime or use additional resources as needed.

Explore issues or needs, establishing potential causes and barriers, as well as related issues.

May include responsibilities such as supporting internal customers or helping senior colleagues manage internal client relationships.

Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.

Apply comprehensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training to others on clear and effective verbal communications to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.

Work without supervision and provide technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.

Independently support business processes with understanding and effective use of standard office equipment and software packages, while also providing guidance to others.

Develop, monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and objectives.

Develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.

Analyze data from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make suitable recommendations.

Strive for full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.

Plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.

Interpret and apply knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in area of expertise.

Manage client accounts in a way that benefits both the organization and its clients.

Analyze potential solutions and create recommendations based on expected benefits, costs, and overall value for key stakeholders.

Conduct research and analyze data to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market conditions that enables maximum return on investments.

Acquire, organize, protect and process data to fulfill business objectives.

Envision and document the future state of processes and products by identifying the solution scope, potential value, and changes to the process, products, organization, infrastructure, capabilities, and technology.

Communicate with others in a clear, concise and compelling manner without supervision as needed.

Contribute to or lead business case creation with client departments to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify ROI.

Explore the depth and breadth of a problem, draw out implications of not changing, and help clients self-discover and articulate the value of a solution.

Uncover clients’ explicit needs and/or unforeseen opportunities and challenges.

Understand business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as organizational structure, cultures, capabilities, and processes to document the current state of processes and the business.

Conduct gap analyses between current and future states to identify components of the overall change strategy.

Orient the seller's organization around delivering to the key needs of their customers.

Education

Bachelor’s: Accounting (Required)
