Position: Insurance Defense Attorney with a focus on trucking and liability claims. This position involves representing insurance companies and their insureds in litigation matters, drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, evaluating and resolving claims, negotiating settlements, and maintaining proactive client and counsel communications. Responsibilities

Represent insurance companies and their insureds in litigation matters involving trucking and other liability claims. Drafting and arguing motions before the court. Conducting and defending depositions. Evaluating and resolving claims and lawsuits in a timely and cost-effective manner. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients. Interacting with clients, claims professionals, and opposing counsel regularly to ensure a proactive approach to litigation matters. Conducting legal research and analysis of statutes, judicial decisions, articles, and codes to prepare legal documents (briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc.). Proactively managing a large caseload from case inception through trial or other resolution. Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on trucking and liability claims. Active member in good standing with the State Bar of FL. Proven ability to handle a high volume of cases from inception through resolution. Exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment. Strong commitment to client service and ability to build client relationships. Proven track record of courtroom success, including trial experience. Ability to travel as needed for case management.
