KalVista Pharmaceuticals, Inc., is a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and delivering life-changing oral therapies for individuals affected by rare diseases with significant unmet needs. Sebetralstat is a novel plasma kallikrein inhibitor approved in the United States and United Kingdom for the treatment of acute attacks of hereditary angioedema (HAE) in people 12 years of age and older. It is the first and only oral on-demand treatment for HAE. With ongoing studies exploring its use in children aged two to 11 and multiple regulatory applications under review in key global markets, sebetralstat has the potential to become the foundational therapy for HAE management worldwide.

About the role Sr. Director, Enterprise Solutions

will lead the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of the company’s General & Administrative (G&A) platforms, including Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and Procurement systems. This senior leader will partner closely with functional executives to ensure technology solutions are optimized for scalability, compliance, and business value. Over time, the role will expand in scope as the organization grows, encompassing broader enterprise technology leadership.

Responsibilities

Establish and execute a shared strategic roadmap for G&A solutions with cross functional stakeholders, facilitating decision making and addressing trade-offs within and between solution platforms

Oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise application solutions, with an initial focus on G&A, including Finance, HR, Legal and Procurement critical platforms

Partner with business to develop clear business cases to justify investments in enterprise application enhancements, integrations, and major implementations

Establish robust governance, compliance frameworks, and best practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and operational reliability

Set clear performance metrics and regularly evaluate application effectiveness, driving continuous improvements and proactive resolution of issues

Manage strategic vendor partnerships, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery against service-level agreements

Develop and manage the enterprise applications budget, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal allocation of resources

Foster strong working relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring platforms continuously support G&A business needs

Future Responsibilities As the company scales, this role will take on expanded responsibilities, including:

Leading enterprise-wide IT strategy and governance across all business functions

Overseeing additional technology domains such as R&D, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing systems

Driving company-wide digital transformation initiatives to enable data-driven decision-making and operational excellence

Establishing enterprise architecture standards and integration strategies

Serving as a key member of the senior leadership team to align technology investments with long-term corporate strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field (Master’s preferred)

15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 8 years leading enterprise platforms in Finance, HR, Legal, and Procurement domains

Demonstrated success in implementing and optimizing ERP, HCM, CLM, and procurement solutions in a high-growth or regulated environment (biotech, pharma, or life sciences background needed)

Proven track record of successfully leading complex enterprise application implementations, integrations, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives

Extensive background in cloud-based enterprise applications, including SaaS deployments and full application lifecycle management

In-depth expertise in enterprise application architecture, integration strategies, and associated cybersecurity best practices

Strong business insight with a proven track record of aligning technology initiatives to organizational goals and measurable outcomes

Demonstrated success in managing major vendor partnerships, securing advantageous contract terms, and directing large-scale budgets

Outstanding skills in strategic planning, analysis, problem-solving, and informed decision-making

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a talent for translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused language

Dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying current on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in enterprise application strategy and governance
