Be among the first 25 applicants. Dunn Carney’s Real Estate Practice Group is expanding! We are seeking an attorney with 2-5 years of experience handling commercial real estate matters. This position will involve the purchase, sale, development, finance, and leasing of all types of real property, including shopping centers, industrial parks, office buildings, multifamily housing, hospitality, and ranch, farm, and agricultural properties. The preferred candidate will have experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, and related documents; conducting due diligence and title and survey review; advising clients on real estate finance, joint ventures, and investment structuring; and working closely with developers, investors, lenders, landlords and tenants across a broad range of industries. We are seeking a self-starter who is actively engaged in their own career development and is dedicated to delivering excellent, client-focused legal services.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, and related real estate documents. Perform due diligence, title and survey review, and advise clients on real estate finance, joint ventures, and investment structuring. Collaborate with developers, investors, lenders, landlords and tenants across various industries. Take ownership and primary responsibility for assigned matters while working collaboratively with colleagues. Maintain a client-focused approach and deliver excellent legal services in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail. Well-developed legal analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Willingness to take ownership of matters and work collaboratively. Commitment to diversity and teamwork. Admission to practice in Oregon is required; admission in Washington is preferable.
