Security Cloud Consultant, Professional Services, Google Cloud. Google is hiring for this role and seeks candidates to guide customers through secure Google Cloud Platform implementations, migrations, and modernization efforts. Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience in architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions. Experience with network security, data security and regulatory compliance frameworks. Experience managing internal or external customer-facing projects to completion while working with cross-functional teams. Preferred qualifications
Experience in cloud security, within a customer-facing role. Experience with cloud environments. Experience in security architecture or security engineering. Experience with implementing FedRAMP, PCI or HIPAA security requirements in a cloud environment. Experience in attacks and mitigation methods in two or more areas: network protocols and secure network design; web application security; security assessments and penetration testing; authentication and access control; applied cryptography and security protocols; security monitoring and intrusion detection; incident response and forensics; development of security tools, automation or frameworks. Excellent communication, written, presentation and problem-solving skills. About the job

You will help shape the future of businesses and enable growth using Google’s global network, data centers, and software infrastructure. As a Security Consultant, you will provide technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning, cloud-ready architectures, and more. You will work with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive excellence in Google Cloud products and features. This role requires deep technical security experience and will involve high-visibility interactions with senior leaders at customer organizations. Google Cloud accelerates digital transformation for customers globally. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions and tools that help developers build responsibly. Salary ranges vary by location and level; base salary for US roles is shown below, with additional bonus, equity and benefits. Work with customer development leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver secure cloud security architectures; act as a cloud security and compliance subject matter expert and trusted advisor to decision makers. Collaborate with internal specialists, product, and engineering teams to package approaches, best practices, and lessons learned into methodologies and assets. Interact with sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
