This role plays a vital part in the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will collaborate with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, answer their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend tailored solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to quickly resolve customer concerns while ensuring maximum satisfaction. Staying updated on product features and upholding high-quality standards in the store are also essential duties. As a Customer Service Specialist, your goal is to deliver outstanding service and consistently meet the store's sales objectives. This is a POD Role. You will work at multiple locations within a 7-mile radius. This position involves direct customer interaction, including minors, along with access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuable items. Due to this access, a review of criminal history is required to protect our business, staff, and customers. Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and suggesting appropriate products and services. Establish productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies. Strive to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain accurate work order files and formulations. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products to match customer specifications. Restock shelves and set up displays within the store. Maintain cleanliness of store equipment. Load/unload delivery trucks as necessary. Assist with deliveries when needed. Keep assigned areas well-stocked and presentable. Remain knowledgeable about available products and options. Follow inventory control procedures diligently. Propose ways to enhance sales performance. Minimum Requirements: At least eighteen (18) years of age. Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship. Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to retrieve materials from shelves/lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: A High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role. Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products. Experience with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in more than one language. Specifically, proficiency in Spanish is valuable.
