Anduril Cyber is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of expeditionary cyber capabilities. Cyber is a new business line at Anduril, and relies upon our fleet of autonomous vehicles, mesh networks, and electronic warfare products to engage in cyber operations at the edge. We design and build novel solutions to deploy cyber capabilities in unconventional or difficult to reach environments.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Cyber Operations Subject Matter Expert to join a group of amazingly talented people focused on delivering mission outcomes through technology. You will work side-by-side with customers to lead the delivery of high stakes, high profile, complex programs while strengthening our engineering and program-specific capabilities across the business line.
This is a technical role for an experienced cyber operations leader who will adapt production-ready Anduril systems to meet emergent cyber operational needs. This person will be a critical interface between both customer operators and Anduril engineering teams who are building expeditionary cyber hardware and software solutions, connecting sensors, capabilities, and data spanning multiple domains and forces across a dynamic battle-space.
We are looking for someone who has experience in military cyber operations planning, targeting, capability development, and interactive operations to set objectives, help build a new teams of similarly capable experts, and drive projects to completion. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience to deliver highly complex, optimized, multi-disciplinary products and programs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead, manage, and execute new expeditionary cyber operations paradigms from conceptual design through technology development, system integration, testing, and deployment while interfacing with customer POCs. Work with existing and prototype software and mission systems for purposes of test, evaluation, and integration, while interfacing with and integrating third-party systems and APIs. Embody a mission-oriented attitude with the desire to work on critical software and drive Anduril-developed solutions that yield a real-world impact as they are deployed to customers. Speak code.
You will be expected to interface with and a team of software engineers and must have working familiarity with one or more programming languages (our stack includes C, C++, Go/Golang, Rust, Python, numpy, pandas, and TypeScript/JavaScript) with ability to understand and describe existing customer mission systems, APIs, and performance requirements. Lead a blended team of customer operators and engineering teams to develop new and enhanced approaches to conduct novel cyber operations in a secure, reliable, and agile fashion while remaining compliant with all applicable oversight and policy guidance. Work with experts to build systems that can operate connected and disconnected, support denied, degraded, and intermittent communication links, operated and be fleet managed centrally, and operate with high levels of availability and resiliency. Optimize delivery for the business line by developing a thorough understanding of customer objectives and proposing innovative solutions both internally with Anduril engineers and externally with customers. Manage a portfolio of technology-driven programs that span major customer/capital spend AND/OR unpaid, self-funded IRAD to advance an objective, or support customer exercises. Partner with senior leadership to ensure resource plans are adequate for work scope while developing a transitional plan to take products from R&D to production. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience engaging directly with customers at an executive level (i.e., executive gravitas) while leading high-profile engineering and operational programs. Prior qualification as one or more of the following Department of Defense cyber operations work roles: capability developer, exploitation analyst, interactive on-net operator, cyber operator. Experience being technically hands-on, able to dig into technical details, while also commanding high level strategy. Experience with DoD cyber operations policy and planning processes. Experience managing programs and leaders across government, services, commands, AND/OR countries. Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph. Must work five days at the customer location in Maryland. US Salary Range
$220,000-$292,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
