JOB SUMMARY Your primary role will be to safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to various customers, ensuring proper delivery and unloading according to customer invoices and company standards. 10 Paid Holidays! Well Maintained Equipment - All Automatics. Bi-Weekly pay. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. Benefits active the 1st of the month after 31 days of employment. 401k and Sysco Stock Purchase Plan. DEDICATED ROUTES! (*does not apply to Extra Board drivers.) Evening Dispatch, Sunday - Friday. Most routes out no more than 36 hours. RESPONSIBILITIES: Unloading goods from the trailer, either by hand or with a hand cart, following all safety protocols and placing items in designated customer storage areas. Completing all necessary paperwork in accordance with company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT logs, inspections, and vehicle maintenance reports). Upholding food safety standards and maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, warehouse, and yard. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication. Performing additional duties as assigned by management. REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred. A completion of a tractor-trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to, a high school diploma. CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with the ability to be insured to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of:

DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices. Skill in:

Operating heavy vehicles over long distances and varying conditions, effective communication with customers, problem-solving, and efficient product delivery. Ability to:

Drive a tractor-trailer unit day and night in diverse traffic and weather, meet minimum productivity levels, handle various food and materials, operate heavy machinery, and effectively plan and organize independent work. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires the ability to lift, push, or move products typically weighing up to 50 pounds and to maneuver larger loads with a hand cart. Additionally, individuals must be able to climb in and out of tractor and trailer units, reach to stack items, bend and twist during loading/unloading, and meet various vision requirements. WORK ENVIRONMENT: You may be exposed to various environmental conditions including wet and humid weather, and mechanical parts. The position typically involves night shifts, with the need to work weekends, holidays, and at different starting times to meet customer needs. NOTICE:
