Overview
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager assists in the overall operation of the store to ensure maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The minimum age requirement is 18 and the candidate must have a flexible schedule. The physical demands of the job include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required. Establish and maintain Guest Services. Support staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. Contribute to store operations to maximize sales/profitability. Develop staff and manage associated training needs. Control expenses and shrinkage; manage merchandising and inventory control. Qualifications
Minimum age 18; flexible schedule. 8+ hours of standing and walking; ability to climb ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required. Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate ranges from $16.75 to $17.00 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include Set-Up and Tear Down Premium Pay Programs and End of Season Premium Pay Program. All bonus and pay programs subject to qualifications. Safety and Notices
