Agency Launch and Compensation
Agency Launch Bonus : The Agency Launch bonus is paid once the candidate launches a fully compliant AAA branded agency — $20,000.
Marketing Reimbursement : Paid to Agency Owner $20,000 or more (you can qualify up to 10K per quarter). First 36 months – measured on a quarterly basis (up to 62.5% new commissions). Starts in year 3 (month 25). Full ownership (Equity) of your book of business.
Strong Support Throughout the Process The EA model is designed to serve the needs of our members with thoughtful candidate selection, interview process, and agency location placement. We provide EAs with assistance on how to launch and develop a sustainable, profitable business year over year. Onboarding includes a detailed deployment plan to ensure compliance with AAA protocols and standards, and comprehensive education through a mix of in-person and virtual training. Resources help you grow, manage financials and cash flows, develop a business plan, and access a network of experienced EAs and other business experts. Your AAA recruiter can review specifics with you.
Agency Owner Overview This opportunity is for self-motivated, results-driven businesspeople interested in building a profitable, multi-line insurance agency. You’ll bring business or industry-relevant experience and need a level of capital to ensure your agency delivers the service AAA—and our members—expect. You’ll own and grow an insurance agency that serves new and prospective AAA Members, selling property and casualty, life insurance and AAA memberships along with other products to a well-defined and loyal client base.
Agency Owner Requirements
Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Licensing, preferred but not required: if not licensed, you must be willing to obtain at the candidate's expense.
Review and completion of the Business Plan/Cash flow analysis (AAA provides assistance and guidance).
Learning & Development requirements: 4-week 100% virtual training/live instructor class.
AAA branded office — must be an approved office space.
75K proof of investable capital — proof of funds available for investment into your own business (not a franchise fee); must be seasoned for 60 days.
Must pass background check (criminal history and credit/financial check).
2 licensed staff.
Products include
AAA Membership — programs for autos, bicycles, RVs and motorcycles; access to trusted roadside assistance and savings on dining, shopping, hotels, rental cars, travel events and auto care.
Property and casualty insurance — Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, Flood, RV, Boat, Motorcycle, Specialty Vehicles and Commercial Lines; access to brokered products from multiple carriers (varies by state).
Life Insurance — Term, Universal Life, Whole Life and Annuities.
