Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Generate Sales: Produce sales gains, by providing customer service. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance; give feedback on strengths and opportunities in line with Company Objectives. Adhere to current visual guidelines including proper merchandising, signage and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Dress Code Policy. Control Expenses

Protect Company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparation of store schedules that provide proper store coverage and are within wage control guidelines. Manage store inventory including receiving, transferring, price changes and product counts. Perform proper documentation and record keeping per LIDS Retail policies and laws. Open and close the store as required following procedures per the Operations P&P Manual. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Supervise Associates: Participate in LIDS Training Programs, adhere to set goals and follow up. Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures. Encourage store associates’ compliance with policies and safekeeping of inventory, funds and property. Perform work of subordinates as needed; communicate with employees at all levels. Other duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate a computer and relevant software. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and work with hands overhead. Standing for up to 100% of the work time; ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary. PT roles may include bonuses and employee discount. Education

Store Manager Compensation

For California-based roles: Annual pay ranges may fall between $33,280 - $68,640. You may also be offered a bonus, and other benefits. EEO Statement
