Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize high-quality technology and infrastructure projects on time and within budget. This role requires a results-driven, organized professional with exceptional communication skills who can effectively manage stakeholders, budgets, and project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle while working in a hybrid environment. Job Title : Senior Project Manager (Technology & Infrastructure) Locations : This position can work out of Paramus, New Jersey or Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pay Range : $50.00 - $62.00 per hour, based on level of experience. Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and finalize projects with high-quality deliverables on time and within budget. Acquire and manage resources while coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors. Work with executives and senior leaders to align project plans with strategic objectives. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define scope, design solutions, and deliver project milestones. Estimate resources, submit budget proposals, track financials, and recommend adjustments as needed. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate appropriately. Manage project dependencies and critical paths, ensuring alignment with project milestones. Produce regular and ad hoc status reports for the Steering Committee and stakeholders. Coordinate user acceptance testing, communications, and training with business teams. Develop and maintain required project documentation, including deliverables to support installations, support models, and operating procedures. Apply knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes. Support additional duties as required to ensure project and business objectives are met. Required Skills & Qualifications
At least 5 years of technology project management experience working closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors. Experience leading business technology discussions, projects, and programs, including coordinating meetings and presenting project deliverables. Experience working within a PMO structured environment with standard documentation and tools. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage executives and team members. Strong understanding of project and software development life cycles (PMLC, SDLC, Waterfall, Iterative, SCRUM). Understanding of infrastructure systems, networks, cloud, personal computing, system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Slides and Sheets) and project management tools. Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience in Utilities (water or electric) industries. Experience in major infrastructure and application deployment projects. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. PMP, ITIL, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
