Overview
Construction Resources (CR) is seeking a results-driven Director of Revenue Operations to lead the transformation and optimization of revenue-generating processes across multiple business units. This role will champion Salesforce CRM optimization, cross-functional process alignment, and data-driven performance management to drive scalable growth. The Director will unify sales, quoting, and order workflows, improve CRM adoption and data quality, and enable seamless collaboration across teams. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role for candidates with deep experience in Salesforce, sales operations, and the construction or homebuilding industry. Responsibilities
Lead Sales & Revenue Operations: Oversee daily sales operations across business units, ensuring consistent processes, performance metrics, and sales enablement practices. Optimize Salesforce CRM: Drive platform strategy, configuration, and adoption. Simplify workflows, ensure data accuracy, and enhance usability for end users. Standardize Sales & Quoting Workflows: Document and align sales, quoting, and order tracking processes across BUs to support consistency and efficiency. Enable Cross-BU Selling: Build systems and visibility to support account sharing, lead attribution, and seamless collaboration across teams. Champion Data Quality & Analytics: Lead data governance efforts and create dashboards that deliver actionable insights into pipeline, quoting, and revenue performance. Drive Training & Change Management: Develop user training programs, tools, and support resources. Cultivate CRM champions within each business unit to sustain adoption. Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with IT, Marketing, Finance, and BU leaders to align tools, data, forecasting, and go-to-market strategy. Execute Strategic Initiatives: Lead key initiatives from the CR Connect roadmap, including quoting enhancements, referral tracking, and showroom sales enablement tools. Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in Revenue or Sales Operations leadership, with a proven track record of leading teams, streamlining processes, and scaling operations. Industry Knowledge: Background in homebuilding, construction, or building materials is required; strong understanding of builder and designer sales cycles. Salesforce CRM Expertise: Advanced experience configuring and managing Salesforce, including dashboards, reporting, and user enablement. Process & Data Strength: Skilled in developing standard operating procedures and driving data quality using Excel, BI tools, or Salesforce reporting. Analytical Thinking: Strong forecasting and KPI tracking capabilities with the ability to translate insights into operational strategy. Leadership & Communication: Influential leader and effective communicator able to guide cross-functional alignment, manage change, and deliver results. Preferred Qualifications
Education & Certifications: MBA or master’s in business/operations and Salesforce or RevOps certifications (e.g., Admin, Sales Cloud) preferred. Change Management Experience: Proven success leading CRM rollouts or sales transformation initiatives in complex, multi-division organizations. Technology Integration: Familiarity with marketing automation, ERP, CPQ, or BI tools, including experience with CRM/ERP integrations. Strategic Planning: Experience supporting go-to-market strategy, sales forecasting, territory design, and revenue planning. Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid field/office setting and requires collaboration across CR’s Design Centers and regional business units. Physical Demands
While performing duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, sit, stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods. The role occasionally requires lifting up to 50 pounds and may infrequently involve lifting up to 80 pounds.
