In the role of Senior Project Manager (Civil Engineering), we'll count on you to:

Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)

Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff

Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently

Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production activities

Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders

Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule

Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule

Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews

Implement QA/QC procedures

Provide technical reviews and guidance related to design, construction, agency coordination, and overall project implementation

Perform engineering assignments requiring critical thinking and creativity to address unique elements that have limited or no specific code-based guidance

Supervise large project staffs and mentor less-experienced Engineers and Project Managers

Assume leadership responsibilities in support of key clients including local irrigation districts, flood control agencies, California Department of Water Resources, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree

PMP certification

Must have the ability to interact with multi-disciplinary teams, have excellent organizational and communication skills

Experience building a cohesive team culture and managing team members in various locations

Demonstratable experience delivering dams, levees, and heavy civil work projects

Engineering support during construction or construction field experience

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

10 years related experience

A minimum 5 years project management experience

Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.

MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)

Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills

The expected compensation range for this position is $142,758.00 - $231,750.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
