Eames Consulting has partnered with a leading P&C insurance carrier to add an experienced Claims Manager. This role offers the opportunity to own complex general liability and litigated claims and advance your career with a leading P&C insurer. Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s). Handle complex commercial lines claims, including higher severity exposures. Investigate General Liability claims, including coverage determination and evaluation of loss exposures; determine appropriate reserving levels. Exercise significant limits of authority, discretion, and independent judgment in claim handling. Identify potentially suspicious claims and ensure proper investigations. Provide coverage interpretation and draft detailed positional coverage letters. Manage all aspects of claims, including informal hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and claims litigation. 7–10 years of Commercial General Liability claims experience. Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience); industry designations preferred. Strong negotiation skills with ability to resolve complex situations while maintaining relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft and present clear coverage positions. Knowledge of statutes, regulations, and case law related to claims. Qualifications
7–10 years of Commercial General Liability claims experience. Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience); industry designations preferred. Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to draft and present clear coverage positions. Knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, and case law related to claims. How to Apply
