The BDR will generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails to potential clients. The BDR qualifies prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy and uses that information to align and sell Read AI. This role spends approximately 75% of time qualifying prospects for the sales team through outbound prospecting and 25% qualifying inbound leads. Receive hands-on training with an emphasis on strategic discovery and thorough qualification. Gain in-depth experience in a rapidly growing AI SaaS startup. Individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Business Development. Use the CRM strategically to record information and identify additional opportunities in the assigned territory. Create and execute strategic outbound prospecting campaigns using a mix of call and email outreach. Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in B2B sales, ideally with SaaS or technology solutions. Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in an early-stage startup environment. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, especially in managing inbound and outbound leads. Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical concepts and value propositions. CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools. Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
