Qualifications
5-8 year experience required in the below areas: Conduct project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
Maintain official project documentation files and logs.
Perform onsite activities that will include onsite inspections and walkdowns and may also include construction or field administration tasks.
Review submittals, shop drawings, material certifications, and other project deliverables, which will support the end of project turnover process.
Ensure all construction is in compliance with design specifications and drawings.
Support the project management team in change management and monthly invoicing process.
Tracking of work in place and construction progression.
Coordination and management of daily tasks to support the progression of project schedule activities and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
Work to build a cooperative partnership between the client, contractor, and all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of project issues and the overall success of the project.
One should assume 65-85% of time should be spent, in the field, walking the project and coordinating with other team Superintendents and Trade Foremen.
10% - 30% will be spent on meetings and planning sessions. This will be adjusted on a project-by-project basis to suit the project / client needs.
Champion a proactive safety culture by conducting safety walkdowns, reinforcing site-specific protocols, and collaborating with trade partners to identify and mitigate risks before they impact operations.
Location is Eastern Pennsylvania (Conshohocken office) based – but working on sites: Majority of time based at: West Point PA, Swiftwater, PA Wilmington DE
Responsibilities
Minimum of 5 years of direct construction site experience.
At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity as a General Foreman, Site Superintendent, or Site-Based Construction Manager.
Strong understanding of pre-design and pre-construction phases, building systems and technologies, contract management, project delivery methods, and stakeholder engagement.
Proven ability to manage and maintain complex project schedules.
Experience supporting both pre-dynamic and dynamic start-up processes.
Demonstrated success managing industrial manufacturing projects valued between $25 million and $500 million.
Working knowledge of commissioning and qualification processes, particularly related to MEP systems.
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in construction management or engineering but not required.
Life Science / Biopharma manufacturing facility construction experience.
Knowledge and experience of starting up equipment and systems in manufacturing facility.
Day-to-day management of systems until project turnover.
Understanding of the regulatory process and requirements associated with the qualification of biopharma manufacturing process systems.
