Overview
The Data Product Owner and Data Program Manager for Forvis Mazars US is responsible for collaborating with the Director of Data & Analytics, Data Governance Committee, and business stakeholders to execute upon the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the firm's data products. It\'s also tasked with the ongoing maintenance, compliance, and maturation of data products as defined by the Director of Data & Analytics and the Data Governance Committee.
What You Will Do
Work with business teammates and data experts in the firm to define and prioritize use cases.
Manage the product backlog and ensure features are aligned with business needs
Plan, execute, and manage data products from inception to completion
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve data products
Ensure data products comply with relevant regulations and standards
Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders
Monitor product performance and user feedback, iterating and improving based on insights
Conduct regular reviews and testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree
5 years or more of relevant experience
Proficiency in key data tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, SSIS)
Familiarity with data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures
Proven experience managing data-focused projects
Skilled in defining, developing, and deploying data products
Understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices
Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Kanban, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies
Experience analyzing customer feedback to inform decision-making
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, service management platforms)
Preferred Qualifications
Master\'s Degree
10 years or more of relevant experience
Product management certifications
Effective leadership strategies for team development and performance
Strong business acumen with the ability to align product vision to solve business challenges
Demonstrated success in product or project management within technology-driven environments
Deep understanding of client experience, business value definition, and requirements drafting
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
